Gender Identity Committee

Statement of Purpose

The Edgemont Student Gender Identity Committee is a group of stakeholders charged with discussing the facets of the Student Gender Identity Policy that impact its implementation; the committee will be responsible specifically for creating the handbook required by the policy, to be used by district administrators, faculty and staff in navigating the various circumstances and issues that arise in the context of ensuring that Edgemont schools can provide a safe and supportive environment where students feel uninhibited in their gender identity and expression.
