Budget Calendar

Maximum Allowable Tax Levy
Explains the District’s calculated maximum property tax levy increase under New York State’s tax levy limit law, including applicable growth factors and exclusions. This calculation establishes the maximum tax levy the Board of Education may include in the proposed budget without seeking an override through a supermajority (60% affirmative) vote.
