Stormwater Management Education
As part of our compliance with New York State regulations, we are committed to effective stormwater management practices to protect our local environment. Stormwater runoff, which occurs when rainwater flows over surfaces like roads and rooftops, can carry pollutants into nearby waterways. To mitigate this, our district implements measures to reduce runoff, improve drainage, and minimize environmental impact. We encourage families to support these efforts by adopting eco-friendly practices at home, such as proper disposal of waste and limiting the use of harmful chemicals on lawns. Together, we can work to preserve our community’s water resources for future generations.
