Mandated testing of water quality
New York State passed a new law on September 6, 2016 and the Department of Health filed emergency regulations the same day. The regulations require schools to test all potable water sources for lead. Edgemont has been testing our water in the schools for many years.
We are continuing to monitor and test throughout the district.
