Dear Faculty and Staff,

To ensure timely and accurate responses to your benefits-related inquiries, we are streamlining the process for addressing questions about health, dental, vision, disability, and related insurance matters.

Effective immediately, please direct all benefits-related questions to either Payroll or Human Resources, depending on the nature of the inquiry. This will help us identify the appropriate point of contact and assist you more efficiently.

Below is a breakdown of responsibilities to help guide your request:

Payroll Department

For questions regarding enrollment, billing, or plan administration, please contact the Payroll Department. Ms. Zagoya pzagoya@edgemont.org

  • Health insurance enrollment/disenrollment

  • Health insurance buyouts

  • COBRA applications and coverage

  • Annual enrollment verification

  • Liaison with insurance carriers

  • Billing reconciliation (health, dental, vision)

  • Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting and 1095 preparation

  • CSEA dental/vision enrollment/disenrollment
    Flexible Spending Account (FSA) enrollment and liaison with The Preferred Group

Human Resources Department

Questions related to onboarding, eligibility, plan explanation, or disability/life insurance, please contact Human Resources Amy Moselhi at emsoelhi@edgemont.org.  

  • Explaining health, dental, vision, long-term disability, life insurance, and defined contribution benefits

  • Providing onboarding information to new hires
    Maintaining retiree insurance records and billing

  • Invoicing for health insurance

  • Receiving and submitting Workers' Compensation claims

  • Liaison with Workers' Compensation Board and OMNI

  • Administering long-term disability/life insurance enrollment/disenrollment

  • Supporting labor negotiations and confidential documentation
