Transportation To/From Non-Public Schools
Residents of the district whose students will attend a non-public school in 2024-
25 and require bus service must submit a request form online by April 1 (even if placement has not yet been
confirmed) to the Ardsley Transportation Department. To be eligible, students must be at least 5 years old, in
grades K-12 (not preschool) and the school must be within 15 miles of their home. You must also meet the
minimum district mileage requirements.
To apply online, visit the transportation page at ardsleyschools.org.

Transportation When the District is Closed: No busing will be provided to non-public schools for orientation days, after-school activities, late classes outside of the normal schedule, Federal Holidays, or when Ardsley schools are closed due to inclement weather conditions. However, busing will be provided on Superintendent Conference days. Please check the district calendar for all relevant dates and be prepared to make alternate transportation arrangements.
If you plan to send your child to a non-public school for the 2024-2025 school year and she/he/they will need school bus service, you must complete and return an application no later than April 1, 2024. Families who are new to the district have 30 days from establishing residency to submit an application.
If you have not yet confirmed your child's acceptance at the school, you should still submit an application by the April 1 deadline in order to be approved for busing. If you are considering more than one school, you should submit a form for each school and then notify the transportation of your final decision.
