All Means All Committee
Committee's Purpose:
As a part of Edgemont's commitment to ALL MEANS ALL and the principles of All Means All, a district-wide All Means All Committee was established with members representing the community, parents/guardians, students, teachers, counselors, psychologists, and administrators from our schools. The district-wide committee will provide the Superintendent of schools and the Board of Education recommendations for specific initiatives, including the adoption and revision of policies; the implementation of practices designed to promote diversity and inclusivity; the equitable access to high-quality educational staff, facilities, and materials; and, the achievement, success, and sense of inclusion and belonging for all individuals of Edgemont.
Additionally, the All Means All will monitor best practices across the state to ensure the District processes are relevant, current, and collaborative. The All Means All is also leveraged to respond to a call to action and is the think tank leveraged to address incidents impacting our students when they arise. This will be achieved through the principles of equity within a culture of respect which fosters well-being for all. The committee will participate in ongoing professional development to help us develop as thought partners to the District. This is the Edgemont Way.
