Dear families,
We look forward to welcoming your student to the Edgemont School District!
I register all new students from kindergarten through 12th grade, as well as handle withdrawals and changes of addresses. If you have a child entering elementary school and are unsure of the school your child should attend, I can provide that information.
I am available to answer your registration questions or to confirm if an address is within Edgemont. The Registration packet, which includes the residency policy, is available here.

Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarteners beginning school in the 2026-2027 school year must be at least 5 years of age on or before December 31, 2026.
New families to the District must complete the forms in the Registration Packet and provide the following documents: deed/lease, child’s birth certificate or passport, parent photo IDs (valid driver licenses or passports), current utility bill (2026 date).
Parents/Guardians of children currently enrolled in the District must complete the forms in the Kindergarten Packet for Families with Residency Documents on File and present a birth certificate* or passport for the incoming Kindergarten student, along with a current utility bill (2026 date), to confirm the address on file.
*If there is a copy of a birth certificate (or passport) on file, another copy is not required. If you think that this is the case, feel free to contact Mimi Southard to confirm.
