Welcome to the Superintendent's Office

Hello, families.

I am honored and privileged to be part of the Edgemont community as the superintendent of schools,. I am convinced that by working with all stakeholders, we can continue the excellent work already underway and forge ahead to even greater heights.

US NEWs

Edgemont Junior-Senior High School is consistently ranked among the top public schools in New York and this year it has been recognized as one of the top schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.

Profile of a Graduate

Intrinsically connected to our high AP participation and 99% graduation rate is our commitment to All Means All. We believe that diversity strengthens our community and that inclusion is essential for preparing all students to thrive in our interconnected world.  The pledge to fully actualize the characteristics of the Profile of an Edgemont Graduate is paramount to the long term vision for the district.

I look forward to continuing to work with students, staff, administrators and the Board of Education to advance the District's mission.

Yours for the sake of all children,

Dr. Kenneth R. Hamilton
Superintendent of Schools
